First incident resolved

Challenge

A multi-tenancy media hub with over 40 businesses on site needed a unified CCTV system that could serve the whole building while giving individual tenants visibility of their own areas — without compromising the privacy of neighbouring units.

Solution

We designed a zoned IP camera network with 32 HD cameras covering all common areas, car parks, and entry points. Each tenant was given remote access to footage relevant to their zone only, managed through a cloud-based NVR with role-based permissions.

Outcome

Three incidents of vehicle damage in the car park were resolved within 48 hours of installation using footage evidence. The building management team now monitors the entire site remotely from a single dashboard.

ONE2ONE understood the complexity of a multi-tenant site immediately. The zoned access solution was exactly what we needed.

Insurance saving

Challenge

A group of five independent retail units on the same street were each paying separately for basic alarm systems with no CCTV coverage. Shoplifting incidents were increasing and insurers were threatening to raise premiums.

Solution

We consolidated the five sites onto a single monitored alarm platform and installed a 4K CCTV system across all units, with shared cloud storage and a single management app for the group owner. The alarm system was upgraded to NSI-compliant grade 3 specification.

Outcome

Shoplifting incidents dropped by over 60% in the first six months. The group's insurer reduced premiums by 18% following confirmation of the NSI-certified installation.

We went from five separate systems nobody understood to one platform that actually works. The insurance saving alone covered the cost.

Police response time

Challenge

A 120,000 sq ft distribution warehouse had experienced two break-ins in 12 months. The existing CCTV system had blind spots across the loading bay area and the perimeter fence had no detection capability.

Solution

We carried out a full site survey and installed 48 cameras — including 12 PTZ units covering the loading bays — alongside a perimeter detection system using infrared beams and fence vibration sensors. All cameras were integrated with a 24/7 monitored alarm system with police response.

Outcome

No further break-ins in the 18 months since installation. Two attempted intrusions were detected at the perimeter and deterred before reaching the building. Police response was dispatched within 4 minutes on both occasions.

After two break-ins we needed a system that actually deterred criminals, not just recorded them. ONE2ONE delivered exactly that.

Ofsted safeguarding

Challenge

A secondary school with 1,200 pupils needed to upgrade its ageing analogue CCTV system across a sprawling campus. The new system had to meet Ofsted safeguarding requirements, comply with GDPR, and be manageable by non-technical staff.

Solution

We replaced 60 analogue cameras with an IP system featuring automatic number plate recognition at the main gate, facial detection alerts for after-hours activity, and a simple browser-based management interface. Staff training was included as part of the handover. All data retention policies were configured to meet GDPR requirements.

Outcome

The school passed its subsequent Ofsted inspection with safeguarding rated Outstanding. Staff reported significantly greater confidence in managing the system day-to-day. Two after-hours trespass incidents were detected and resolved using the new alert system.

The system is intuitive enough for our admin team to use confidently. ONE2ONE's support during the transition was excellent.
